What Are Legacy Fees?

Legacy fees are protocol fees that were collected on your behalf under LI.FI’s previous fee collection system. They represent real value earned through your integration and are fully withdrawable to your wallet at any time. These are separate from your standard collectable fees, which are generated by your active integration going forward.
Legacy fees are a one-time balance. Once all fees have been withdrawn, the Legacy Fees tab and its summary card will no longer appear in your integration.

Where to Find Your Legacy Fees

  1. Log in to the LI.FI Partner Portal
  2. Navigate to Integrations and select your integration
  3. On the General tab, you’ll see a “Collectable Legacy Fees” card showing your total outstanding balance
  4. To see a full breakdown by chain, click the Legacy Fees tab in the integration navigation bar

How to Withdraw Legacy Fees

Legacy fees must be withdrawn on a per-chain basis. Here’s how:
1

Open the Legacy Fees tab

Go to your integration and open the Legacy Fees tab.
2

Review your balances by chain

You’ll see a list of chains with their respective collectable amounts, for example:
ChainBalance
Arbitrum$3,000,000
Ethereum$1,200,000
Optimism$7,000,000
3

Initiate a withdrawal

Click Withdraw Fees next to the chain you want to withdraw from.
4

Confirm in your wallet

Confirm the transaction in your connected wallet.
5

Repeat for remaining chains

Once the withdrawal is successful, the chain entry will be removed. Repeat for any remaining chains with outstanding balances.
After all legacy fees have been withdrawn, you’ll be automatically redirected to the General tab.
Withdrawals are on-chain transactions and require a small amount of gas on the relevant network. Make sure your connected wallet has sufficient funds to cover gas costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. The Legacy Fees tab and the summary card on the General tab will only appear if you have an outstanding legacy fee balance. Once all fees have been withdrawn, both will disappear automatically.
Not currently. Withdrawals are processed per chain to ensure accurate on-chain execution. You’ll need to submit a separate transaction for each chain.
Only the address that is the registered fee collector for your integration can initiate withdrawals. Make sure you’re connected with the correct wallet in the portal.
If a chain shows a $0 balance, the “Withdraw Fees” button will be disabled for that chain. If your total legacy fee balance is $0, the Legacy Fees tab will not be shown at all.
On-chain transactions may take a moment to confirm. Refresh the page after your transaction is confirmed on-chain. If the balance still hasn’t updated after a few minutes, contact support@li.finance.
